Chef de Service Half Board

For the traditional and newly renovated boutique hotel Engadinerhof, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and service-oriented Chef de Service for our half-board restaurant in split shifts.

Your tasks

Overall responsibility for the service in the half-board restaurant
Leadership, motivation, and development of a service team of 7–8 employees
Mandatory experience in leading intercultural teams
Organization and ensuring smooth service processes
Interface to reception and kitchen
Active guest care and ensuring high service quality
Duty scheduling, training, and coaching of service employees
Close cooperation with kitchen and hotel management
Control of quality, service, and hygiene standards
Participation in daily operational business and responsibility for the floor if required
Your profile

Completed training in gastronomy/hotel management or equivalent
Professional experience
Several years of experience in service in a management function
Proven experience in leading intercultural employees
Strong host mentality and high social competence
Organizational talent, resilience, and assertiveness
Interface qualities: good communication skills
Improvisation talent
German & English: business language (very good knowledge mandatory)
Italian: very welcome / big plus
Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor
