The Houdini Kino/Bar in the Kalkbreite offers a unique cinema experience in the middle of Zürich with five modern cinema halls and a stylish bar. Both locations are popular meeting points for a diverse audience of film, culture, and urban people. To support the Operations Manager of the Riffraff Kino/Bar and Houdini Kino/Bar, we are looking for an engaged, strong leadership personality with high social competence as: Deputy Operations Manager Riffraff/Houdini, 80-100% Your Role You are a host by conviction and feel at home both in operational business and in organization. As the "right hand of the Operations Manager," you take on responsibility, actively participate in shaping things, and ensure that gastronomy and cultural operations interlock seamlessly. Your Main Tasks You support the Operations Manager and share responsibility for the operational management of two versatile gastronomy and cinema businesses. Active collaboration in daily business in service, at the bar, and the cinema ticket office (approx. 2-3 shifts per week, especially in the evenings) Food & Beverage Management (assortment design, purchasing, calculation, inventory, and supplier management) Planning, organization, and implementation of events (pre-premieres, special occasions, rentals, apéros, and festivals (e.g., Porny Days, Human Rights Film Festival, Ginmaku Japanese Film Festival, Yesh!)) incl. administrative follow-up Recruitment, induction, training, and further development of employees in the cinema and bar areas to ensure our quality standards (service, hygiene, safety, youth protection) Collaboration in controlling (inventories, margin monitoring, settlements, and among others, key figure analysis) Your Profile You are a motivated hosting personality with a passion for gastronomy and culture and are ready for the next step.
