Chef de partie

The employer is looking for a:

Chef de partie (reported profession)

Tasks:

• management and supervision of the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes related to one's own station
• optimization of the cooking process, with attention to speed and quality
• compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards (e.g., HACCP) required in the kitchen and reporting any problems
• supervision of the Commis of one's own station in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes

Required skills:

• clear and appropriate communication, providing feedback, listening, and interacting with others with empathy
• management of emotions in difficult situations, adapting one's style to the needs of the people with whom one interacts;
• active collaboration by supporting team members, sharing information and knowledge

Requirements:

• at least 2/3 years of experience in the same role in high-level facilities/starred restaurants/gourmet restaurants
• knowledge of various working methods, the processing of raw materials, equipment, and processes
• availability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, flexibility and adaptability to change, to new programs and processing methods; initiative
• predisposition to teamwork and a collaborative spirit, sharing skills, information, and knowledge
• possession of an HACCP certificate constitutes a preferential qualification
• knowledge of various working methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes
• familiarity with various cuts and cleaning of raw materials
• constant search for personal development
• excellent knowledge of Italian

• availability for split shift employment 7/7 including Sundays and holidays
• shift work, from Monday to Friday, holidays, morning shift, day shift, evening shift and on the Weekend
• salary remuneration based on the CCNL of the hotel and catering sector
