Clerk Lost & Found Service in Bern (m/f/d)

Job Description ### Do you enjoy providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient processes? On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a dedicated personality as a Clerk Lost & Found Service. In this exciting position, you will play a significant role in reuniting customers with their lost items, while maintaining high quality standards and following established processes. Your main tasks include the efficient administration of lost and found services to ensure high customer satisfaction. You carefully record all found items using specialized software, compare them with loss reports, and organize the return to customers worldwide. In doing so, you clarify discrepancies between reported and found objects through direct exchange with customers. Decision-making is always carried out with regard to economic aspects as well as organizational guidelines. You ideally bring teamwork skills and an open, approachable personality. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively even under time pressure, as approximately 60 to 70 items are processed daily. A keen eye for detail and error-free color perception are of great importance in order to be able to describe objects accurately. Geographical knowledge is an advantage, as is proficient use of PCs, MS Office and an interest in new digital tools such as apps and mobile devices. A completed commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification is required. The willingness to undertake 1-2 weekend shifts per month, as well as excellent German language skills at least at C1 level, are further requirements. The place of work is located in Bern, and the position comprises a workload of 80-100 %.
