A Sector Director at 100% General description As part of the evolution of our organization following the entry into force of the cantonal directive relating to holders of authorization to operate a preschool childcare structure, we are looking for a Sector Director (permanent contract 100%) responsible for steering an early childhood sector, composed of 6 preschool childcare structures, and subsidized by the Ville de Genève. The working conditions are those provided by the CCT of the personnel of the early childhood childcare structures Ville de Genève. Your mission and responsibilities Directly reporting to the Committee, you ensure the institutional consistency of the sector, the respect of contractual commitments, as well as the proper functioning of the structures and shared services. You ensure the link with the Service de la petite enfance and notably with its finance, technical, IT, HR and payroll units. You ensure the strategic, organizational and operational steering of the sector. In this capacity, you support and supervise the site managements (nurseries and kindergartens), coordinate the teams and shared resources, ensure the implementation of the institutional project and guarantee respect for the objectives set by the governance and the subsidizing authority. You supervise administrative, financial and HR activities, lead development projects and ensure reporting to the Ville de Genève. You support the governance bodies in their decision-making and ensure the implementation of strategic orientations within the respect of the legal and contractual framework. Application requirements You hold a higher education degree in a relevant field (management, public administration, human resources, management or equivalent) and benefit from confirmed experience in organizational management as well as in team management. You have solid skills in steering, organization, financial management and human resources. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you demonstrate leadership, analytical spirit, decision-making ability and good resistance to stress. You have experience in an institution with a public interest mission or in the socio-educational field.
