• 10 July 2026 • 90% • Indefinite duration • Genève In order to improve the quality of supervision of after-school teams, the Groupement Intercommunale pour l'Animation Parascolaire is looking for several ### After-school Sector Manager at 90% Faced with the challenge of a growing number of children in after-school care and the construction of new schools in the Canton of Genève, the Groupement intercommunal pour l-animation parascolaire must recruit more to achieve its mission and respond to the needs of all Genevan families. Its mission is to welcome primary school students during the lunch break and at the end of the afternoon, assuming a duty of educational development complementary to those of the family, the school, and extracurricular activities. Your missions As a Sector Manager, you will play a central role in the supervision, coordination, and development of the socio-educational teams of the GIAP. Your main role will be to pilot and coordinate an after-school sector by supervising all organizational, managerial, and operational activities. You will be the driver of a collaborative environment, centered on innovation and the continuous improvement of services. Team Management: Supervise, evaluate, and support a team of 20 to 40 collaborators distributed across different locations, guaranteeing a close presence and a harmonious team dynamic. Quality of Services: Guarantee a high level of quality in socio-educational services by identifying and ensuring the deployment of institutional best practices. Projects: Pilot projects with a strong impact on the ground, in connection with organizational objectives. Field Presence: Ensure an active and regular presence at the different sites of your sector, requiring rigorous organization and adequate means of mobility. Skills Development: Conduct regular follow-ups and assessments with collaborators, encourage and promote training (individual and/or collective) to favor the skill development of the teams and integrate new pedagogical approaches. Coordination and Collaboration: Play a key role in the coordination between teams, Management, and partners. Your profile • Degree at HES level or title deemed equivalent. • Certifying training in team management, an asset. • Collaborative and benevolent leadership with a capacity to unite teams. • Mastery of interpersonal relations: active listening, adapted communication, negotiation. • Adaptability, stress management, and ability to evolve in a dynamic environment. • Experience: Several years of successful experience in the management of socio-educational teams or in the educational/after-school field. • Good knowledge of the Genevan school and socio-educational fabric, a significant asset. • Advanced mastery of office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint). • Ability to plan, coordinate, and pilot complex projects.
