The employer is looking for a:

Tasks:

• prepares and packages meals according to the instructions of the kitchen manager;
• collaborates in the planning and organization of weekly menus;
• provides for the purchase and preparation of necessary ingredients;
• manages supplies, orders, and the control of food stocks;
• verifies the quality and correct preservation of food;
• uses professional equipment, utensils, and machinery appropriately;
• guarantees the cleanliness of spaces, equipment, and workstations;
• ensures compliance with hygiene standards and current food safety procedures;
• contributes to the limitation of food waste and the optimization of resources;
• supports, when necessary, the kitchen manager and ensures their replacement

Requirements:

• with impeccable conduct and reputation, in good physical and mental health, endowed with a collaborative spirit and an aptitude for teamwork.
• Federal Certificate of Capacity (AFC) as a cook or proven equivalent foreign qualification;
• documented professional experience in catering, canteens, social institutions, hospitals, hotels, or other collective catering entities;
• excellent knowledge of the Italian language;
• knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety, and HACCP procedures;
• experience in preparing meals for different dietary needs, including special diets, allergies, and intolerances;
• ability to prepare meals and menus for different types of users and services (catering, banqueting, delivery, canteens, and third-party services);
• organizational skills in managing daily kitchen activities;
• ability to work independently and in a group;
• skills in managing stocks, orders, and waste containment;
• availability to work in shifts, on weekends and on public holidays according to service needs;
• category B driving license
• knowledge of a second national language constitutes a preferential qualification.
