Buffet staff with deputy catering management

The Swiss National-Circus Knie has been inspiring audiences for generations and travels to around 25 performance locations throughout the country every year. For our catering team, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a Buffet staff with deputy catering management 100% Your main tasks: • Active collaboration at the buffet before, during and after the circus performances • Set-up and dismantling of the buffet infrastructure at the various performance locations • Advising guests as well as active sales and promotion of additional sales - Support in the execution of exclusive events, apéros and VIP events - Assistance with the control of incoming goods and inventory management • Support with orders and administrative work • Deputy for the Head of Catering in their absence • Support of the cash desk management as well as execution of daily and cash reconciliations • Ensuring a high service and quality standard Your profile: • Several years of professional experience in gastronomy. Ideally in a similar position • Initial leadership experience or the willingness to take on responsibility • High resilience, flexibility and ability to work in a team • Independent, reliable and proactive way of working • Strong sense of responsibility as well as organizational talent • Enjoyment of guest contact and strong service orientation • Very good manners and a well-groomed appearance • Very good German skills in speaking and writing • French skills are an advantage, other languages welcome • Good user knowledge in MS Office • Enjoyment of traveling and living on tour as well as willingness to accompany the circus to the various performance locations during the entire season What awaits you?
