A sector director at 80%-100% General description As part of the evolution of our organization following the entry into force of the cantonal directive relating to holders of authorization to operate a preschool childcare structure, we are looking for a Sector Director (CDI 80-100%) responsible for steering an early childhood sector, composed of three preschool childcare structures, and subsidized by the Ville de Genève. The working conditions are those provided by the CCT of the personnel of the early childhood childcare structures Ville de Genève. Your mission and responsibilities Directly reporting to the Comité-employeur, you ensure the institutional consistency of the sector, compliance with contractual commitments, as well as the proper functioning of the structures and the shared services. You ensure the link with the Service de la petite enfance and notably with its finance, technical, IT, HR and payroll units. You ensure the strategic, organizational and operational steering of the sector. In this capacity, you support and supervise the site managements (nurseries or kindergartens), coordinate the teams and the shared resources, ensure the implementation of the institutional project and guarantee compliance with the objectives set by the governance and the subsidizing authority. You supervise administrative, financial and HR activities, lead development projects and ensure reporting to the Ville de Genève. You support the governance bodies in their decision-making and ensure the implementation of strategic orientations within compliance with the legal and contractual framework. Application conditions You hold a higher education degree in a relevant field (management, public administration, human resources, management or equivalent) and benefit from confirmed experience in organizational management as well as in team management. You have solid skills in steering, organization, financial management and human resources. Equipped with excellent interpersonal skills, you demonstrate leadership, analytical spirit, ability to make decisions and good resistance to stress. You have experience in an institution with a public interest mission or in the socio-educational field.
