Apprentice Training Manager M/F

The objective of the Apprentice Training Manager position is to steer the entire process of apprenticeship and technical skill development for young people in training within the company. Placed under the authority of the Finance / Human Resources Director and working in close collaboration with the production sector managers, the job holder plays a key role in the transmission of know-how and the maintenance of technical excellence.

Main missions

• Supervision and monitoring of apprentices:
• Organize, supervise, and ensure the smooth running of the technical training for Production Mechanic CFC and Polymécanicien CFC apprentices.
• Motivate, direct, and accompany apprentices and interns placed under their responsibility.
• Support theoretical and school training through personalized and adapted accompaniment.
• Prepare and accompany apprentices during intermediate and final exams.
• Steer the recruitment and selection process of future apprentices (management of internships, tests, etc.).
• Technical and production activities:
• Carry out the production of various parts for all departments of the company.
• Provide technical support for machining.
• Identify, define, and acquire the tooling necessary for the activities.
• Ensure the monitoring, maintenance, and proper functioning of the machine park and installations.
• Improvement and image:
• Perform constant monitoring of evolutions in the field of vocational training.
• Actively participate in the maintenance and improvement of processes.
• Promote and contribute positively to the company's brand image.

Skills

• Technical skills:
• Very good mastery of machining on CNC machines.
• Mastery of mechanical manufacturing processes and tooling management.
• Mastery and application of current training regulations.
• Pedagogical and managerial skills:
• Abilities in supervision, coaching, and transmission of knowledge.
• Aptitude to conduct evaluations, selection tests, and prepare for exams.

Profile

• Training:
• Holder of a CFC in mechanics.
• Completed by mandatory training as an in-company trainer.
• Experience: Equivalent and successful professional experience in a similar position.
• Personal qualities:
• Pedagogical, endowed with natural authority in personnel management.
• Developed interpersonal skills, sense of listening, and analytical mindset.
