Senior Scientist Computational & Applied AI

In this role, you will develop and implement applied AI and machine learning methods to accelerate drug discovery in the field of immunology and cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic diseases.

Tasks

• Development of explainable and causal AI methods for mapping disease pathways
• Adaptation and fine-tuning of biological foundation models for target identification
• Implementation of domain adaptation and cross-species translation algorithms
• Evaluation of multi-omics, spatial, and clinical real-world data for patient stratification
• Construction of dynamic, physics-informed models to map disease progression
• Application of graph deep learning to biological knowledge graphs
• Collaboration with clinical scientists, biologists, and biostatisticians

Profile

• PhD (preferred) or MSc in Computational Biology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in applied AI and Data Science in drug discovery
• Experience with causal inference, Graph Neural Networks, or generative models
• Experience with biological foundation models or dynamic system models
• Understanding of immunology and systemic pathophysiology
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
