On behalf of a recognized player in contract catering in the canton of Lausanne, we are recruiting a

Head Chef

This Head Chef position is intended for a professional capable of guaranteeing quality, organization and rigor on a daily basis. He/she will be a key player in team coordination and production. The establishment values teamwork, collaboration and culinary excellence. He/she supervises a team of approximately five kitchen employees with a volume of 150 menus per day. These meals are served on-site or transported to other sites. The Head Chef plans and implements the entire production, supervising the production of sandwiches, salad buffets and catering services. As the reference for hygiene, quality and maintenance, he/she also manages orders and inventories. The hours are from Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with some exceptional evening interventions.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in both contract catering AND high-end hospitality, with recognized and structured management skills. The Head Chef will propose the menus to be produced, manage the team on a daily basis and report to the restaurant manager. A global vision of the activity, sense of organization and collective spirit are essential. Autonomy and reliability are indispensable qualities for this position.
