The employer is looking for a: Tournant Cook / Assistant Cook (80–100%) (reported profession) Tasks: • preparation of mise en place and kitchen bases • support and operational work in the hot and cold kitchen • independent preparation of first courses, second courses, side dishes and plating during service • support in managing the different parts based on the needs of the brigade • washing of dishes, pots and utensils when needed • reception, control and storage of goods • cleaning and maintenance of HACCP standards • active collaboration with Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient and quality service Requirements: • experience in the kitchen, preferably as a cook or tournant cook • good knowledge of hot kitchen and main preparation techniques • ability to work independently during service • flexibility, reliability and team spirit • speed, organization and ability to manage moments of high attendance • passion for seasonal, artisanal and quality cuisine • basic knowledge of Italian Employment details: • workplace Locarno • employment from 80 - 100% • immediate employment, indefinite period • shift work, Sunday work and holiday work • salary based on the CCNL of the hotel and restaurant sector The selected figure will be gradually trained to know all the parts of the kitchen and, in perspective, will be able to take on the role of reference of the brigade in the absence of the Chef, replacing the Sous Chef during holidays, days off or other organizational needs.
