Tasks in the 2 shift model
Participation in the manufacturing processes

• Execution of all assigned activities according to the production plan and the valid GMP, work, operational, environmental and safety instructions and guidelines
• Timely and error-free review of the batch documentation (part of production)
• Proper and timely cleaning, preparation and disinfection of the production equipment and rooms
• Responsibility for the housekeeping of the production area (cleaning, order, 5S, etc.)
• Compliance with and enforcement of health, safety and environmental rules and guidelines (HSE)
• Application and enforcement of current GMP rules
• Sampling, aliquoting, distribution and execution of in-process controls
• If applicable, perform delegated environmental monitoring for cleanrooms and delegated sampling of ultrapure water and pure steam
• In the event of a malfunction, take immediate measures, report abnormalities to the managers; experts and operational quality assurance
• Execution of all assigned activities according to the GMP, occupational safety and environmental guidelines
• Ensuring/monitoring proper functional capability of the equipment to recognize early signs of anomalies. In the event of a malfunction, take appropriate measures.
• Excellent documentation of measures, according to the GMP regulations
• Management of the consumable supply required for the proper functioning of the operation (e.g. filters, resins, connections, bags, reagents, gas, WCB, etc.).
• Separating and disposing of waste generated as part of production activities
• Daily inspection of production equipment, auxiliary devices and rooms
• Clear and accurate documentation of necessary remarks in the batch documentation
• Participation in the creation of the production plan (report delays, incorrect duration of activities, etc.) and compliance with it
• Commitment and participation in operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Proper handling of biological and chemical substances in production
• Readiness for continuous improvement and analysis of weaknesses
• Participation in all function-relevant training and maintaining a required training level
• Further development and maintenance of an HSE-compliant environment: report near-misses
• If required and if applicable, occasionally work on weekends/holidays and have scheduled on-call service (shift system).
