L-Orif is present in French-speaking Switzerland with 10 training sites and more than 560 employees. For our Orif Sion site, we are looking for:

A cook with special responsibilities at 80%

Our kitchen operates in a collaborative mode, with responsibilities distributed among the professionals of the team. You will contribute to its organization while participating in the training of young people requiring adapted support.

Missions

Production and organization

• Prepare and produce balanced, high-quality, and careful meals.
• Participate in the daily organization of production.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of installations and equipment.
• Participate in the organization and realization of banquets and events.

Special responsibilities

In collaboration with the team, you will take charge of certain responsibilities, including:

• Menu planning.
• Management of orders and stocks.
• Development of offers and organization of banquets.
• Coordination of certain production activities.
• Various organizational tasks defined within the team.

Training and support

• Transmit your know-how to trainees according to the instructions of the socio-professional instructor.
• Adapt your explanations to the capacities and needs of each individual.
• Share your observations with the socio-professional instructor.

Profile and skills

• CFC as a cook or a title deemed equivalent required.
• Several years of professional experience in cooking.
• Experience in supervising apprentices or professional training is an asset.
• Very good technical skills and mastery of HACCP standards.
• Ability to work autonomously and to assume responsibilities.
• Sense of organization, anticipation, and priority management.
• Taste for collaborative work and sharing responsibilities.
• Interest in transmitting the trade and supporting young people in difficulty.
• Driver's license.
