Head Sommelier - Winter Season

The excellent flagship restaurant LEONARD’s offers culinary enjoyment at world-class level in a pleasantly relaxed ambiance. More than 9,000 bottles of the best wines and champagnes, including an impressive selection of the best vintages, are stored in the LEONARD’s Cellar in the heart of the hotel. Your requirement profile: • Basic service training as well as several years of professional experience in upscale gastronomy and/or initial professional experience as a sommelier • Good oral language skills (d/f/e) • Great professional interest in wines, storage and sales conversations with the guest • Monitoring of the wine list, as well as wine storage and optimization of the offering • Cost-conscious calculation of wine prices according to specifications of the management • Co-responsibility for wine ordering • Maintaining contact with the most important wine suppliers • Creation of the monthly inventory • Polished manners with a good portion of warmth, flexibility, willingness to learn, love for detail You can expect: • A young, cheerful and highly motivated team • Modern workplace • Contemporary employment conditions • Accommodation as needed and subject to availability in the staff room • World-famous mountain destination with versatile summer and winter offers in the heart of the Berner Oberland Are you the right person for our team?
