In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for an On-call Cook Job definition and mission Prepare and present all food preparations served in the establishment. Perform all tasks of a nature to promote the quality of service: mise en place, checking the quality and quantity of products. Work organization is established by the chef de partie or by the responsible chef. RESPONSIBILITIES Daily tasks - kitchen • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workstation (equipment, surfaces, fridges, etc.). • Respect cleaning schedules according to HACCP standards and report anomalies. • Perform cleaning according to the Chef's requests and HACCP requirements. • Maintain impeccable hygiene (attire, hands, hair, beard, etc.). • Ensure safety and the correct use of equipment. • Report missing or out-of-stock products. • Inquire about the day's mise en place according to basic recipes. • Actively participate in production and stock management. • Check expiration dates and the quality of goods. • Note upcoming mise en place. • Ask for or provide explanations related to production. • Participate in the order list. • Transmit precise instructions for the continuity of service. • Taste, control and have productions validated. • Respect schedules and report any delay or absence. • Receive goods and control their compliance. • Control and organize the cold room and the pantry. Weekly tasks • Familiarize yourself with events (banquets, cocktails, special menus). • Plan certain mise en place with the managers. • Follow the inventory schedule and control the organization. • Respect and apply the weekly attendance plan. General responsibilities • Maintain product quality and respect internal standards. • Inform the Chef of any problematic situation. • Respect the hierarchy and the organizational chart.
