WHAT YOU CAN MOVE ##

Do you want to acquire new customers, develop business opportunities while remaining technically close to innovative Embedded and IoT solutions? Then you are in the right place in our Competence Center IoT & Embedded.

In this role, you primarily advance business development. You identify customer needs and market opportunities, develop suitable solution offers with our technical experts and accompany the sales process from the first contact to the successful start of the project. In addition, you occasionally support our customers as an Embedded and IoT consultant.

• Business development: You identify new customers, projects and commercial potential in the Embedded and IoT field. You establish lasting relationships with technical interlocutors, decision-makers and executives, and develop existing customers.
• Customer consulting & discovery: You analyze the commercial and technical requirements of customers, derive appropriate solution and project approaches from them, and plan and lead customer meetings, discovery workshops and pre-sales activities.
• Solution development & pre-sales: You develop convincing solutions and offers with our consultants, architects and engineers.
• Tender management: You coordinate tenders and orchestrate internal submission teams and experts.
• Market & portfolio development: You observe relevant market and technology trends and develop our service portfolio in a targeted manner.
• Consulting: You assume, if necessary, selected consulting tasks, for example the analysis of system landscapes, the evaluation of solution architectures or the selection of appropriate technologies.
• Business & Delivery: You link business, sales and technical delivery and ensure that business opportunities are transformed into feasible projects.

HOW YOU SUCCEED ##

• Education: You have completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, technical computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Embedded & IoT: You have several years of practical experience in the Embedded or IoT field, for example in consulting, solution architecture, systems engineering, technical project management or software development. You have discovered Embedded or IoT projects in practice and understand their typical requirements, dependencies and risks.
• Business development: You have experience in business development, technical sales, pre-sales or consulting and enjoy acquiring new customers as well as building lasting business relationships.
• Technical understanding: You understand the structure of Embedded and IoT systems - from hardware, firmware and operating systems to connectivity and Edge components to the cloud.
• Technical consulting: You can analyze technical requirements as well as realistically evaluate feasibility, risks and efforts. You are familiar with relevant topics such as microcontrollers, real-time systems, Embedded Linux, communication protocols, device management or IoT security.
• Architecture & technology: You can technically classify solution architectures and technological decisions and integrate the right technical experts. Programming knowledge is an advantage, but is not at the center of this role.
• Communication: You are capable of transmitting complex technical contexts in a comprehensible and audience-appropriate manner. You express yourself with confidence and conviction to specialists, management and C-level.
• Working method: You combine entrepreneurial thinking with a strong technical understanding, work independently and structured and like to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• AI competence: You possess deep expertise in AI, contribute actively to its responsible use in your area of responsibility and act as a facilitator for customers as well as internally at adesso.
