Your area of responsibility ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Collaboration and coordination within the service technician team • Preparation of scales in our workshop based on technical specifications – including pre-configuration of the terminals • Installation and commissioning at the customer site – e.g., installation of load cells, connection of terminals and modules, as well as wiring of relay boxes • Repair and maintenance work on the scales • Preparatory maintenance and assistance during the calibration of the scales • Error analysis – on-site or by telephone • Customer support and consultation – you are a reliable contact person for your customers, ensure their satisfaction and provide a short application training during handover • Creation and maintenance of documentation, work reports, delivery notes as well as test and conformity certificates What you must bring ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Completed technical training in mechanics, electrics or automation (e.g., Polymechaniker:in, Automechaniker:in, Mechatroniker:in, Automatiker:in or Elektriker:in EFZ) or comparable qualification • Manual dexterity in assembling and wiring different components and devices • Confident use of the PC and common software (e.g., for documentation and reports) • Driver's license category B (mandatory, for external service) • Residence in Switzerland; travel activity is predominantly in Switzerland, international assignments are rare • German fluent and business proficient; English for communication • Precise, careful and structured way of working with personal responsibility and team spirit • Enjoyment of direct customer contact: whether during maintenance, service or consultation on-site – you present yourself in a friendly, positive and service-oriented manner and are the face of IWS to the customer, remaining calm even in stressful situations • Readiness for physical work and enjoyment of changing work locations What makes you the ideal candidate ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Experience in machine, plant or industrial scale construction • Initial experience with measuring or weighing technology • Basic CAD knowledge • Electrical knowledge: reading circuit and electrical diagrams, electrical engineering and control technology (PLC) • Basic knowledge of French Not yet a scale professional? Don't worry – you will learn the specialist knowledge regarding our scales with us in practice. You will be on the road with experienced colleagues, learn from them and take over your own assignments step by step. Commitment and the will to learn are decisive.
