The Office for Economy and Labour of the Canton of Solothurn is a dynamic and lively organization that provides public services in various departments such as Regional Employment Centers RAV, Public Unemployment Fund, Labour Inspectorate. For the RAV Solothurn and Olten, we are looking for a Personnel Consultant, 80-100% for the Solothurn and Olten locations, starting immediately or by arrangement, on a fixed-term basis for two years.

Your responsibility

• You advise and support job seekers competently in the execution of the Unemployment Insurance Act (AVIG) with the aim of rapid and sustainable reintegration into the labor market.
• You show perspectives to the job seekers and work with them to develop a successful application strategy. You find out together whether there is a need for qualification among the job seekers. If so, you select suitable offers to increase their chances of getting a job.
• You are a professional regarding the labor market and are informed about current developments.
• You support your job seekers with this know-how and thus contribute to successful job placements.
• You enjoy working and collaborating intensively with the various internal and external bodies, always in the service of the job seekers.

Your profile

• You have at least a 3-year, completed vocational training and a recognized further education, preferably as an HR Specialist or Social Insurance Specialist, or you are interested in completing these.
• Willingness to perform, resilience, as well as a result-oriented and assertive way of working characterize you.
• Professional experience in customer consulting, placement, personnel management, or human resources work paired with a good portion of life experience are part of your competencies.
• In addition, you bring a strong sense of responsibility as well as high customer and service orientation.
• Efficient and proficient use of IT tools, very good self-management and an efficient working technique, as well as proficient German language skills, round off your profile.
