Clerk Emergency Admission 20%

The first point of contact for patients, guests, customers and suppliers is our voice on the telephone or at the customer reception. The objective is to advise patients individually and enable them to have a smooth hospital admission. To make the hospital stay as pleasant as possible from the beginning, our specialist staff is available at all times to provide information.

Your tasks ###

• Co-responsibility for the timely and tariff-compliant compliance with contracts in the processing of cost guarantees in the emergency admission
• Contact person for technical, insurance and system-related inquiries from internal and external bodies
• Ensuring the reception of the emergency admission
• Maintenance of master data as well as various administrative activities
• Operating the telephone switchboard (forwarding calls as well as providing information)
• Readiness for work in shift operation (working hours Monday - Friday between 18.00 and 22.30, on weekends and public holidays in shift operation (working hours between 06.30 and 22.30, 3 shifts according to the duty roster)

Your profile ###

• Medical training (medical secretary, MPA) with a commercial flair or commercial basic training with experience in the hospital or insurance sector
• Proven professional experience in patient admission or in health/accident insurance in the area of benefits processing
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Good oral and written German skills as well as other languages is an advantage
• Confident IT user skills in MS-Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Solution-oriented and reliable way of working, high flexibility (for duty planning/to step in)
• Service-oriented, reliable and resilient personality

Working hours ###

The standard working time for the company is 42 hours per week for a full-time position (excluding doctors). Annual working time applies, which ensures the highest possible flexibility in the design of working hours. Duty requests are implemented if possible and part-time employment is possible in many functions - also in leadership positions.

Your salary is insured with the pension fund Profond without coordination deduction (excluding doctors). The salaries of doctors are insured with the VSAO pension foundation.
