The SBB Restaurant Arth Goldau is a public self-service restaurant with 90 indoor and 20 outdoor seats. Every day, around 75 guests are pampered with a seasonal, high-quality, versatile, and sustainable offering. The entire offering is prepared fresh on-site every day and ranges from break refreshments to sandwiches, snacks, as well as daily changing menus at the self-service buffet. A creative selection of salad plates and regular special weeks round off the offering. Are you our new team member who will support us as Cook: (80%) as of 01 November 2026 or by arrangement? You will work between Monday and Friday in an 80% workload from 06:30 to 15:00. Your area of responsibility: --------------------- • Preparation of the mise en place at the assigned station • Production of dishes at the assigned station (entremetier, gardemanger, saucier etc.) • Ensuring the replenishment of the menu lines • Regenerating / plating the menus during the lunch service • Collaboration in caterings, apéros, and special occasions • Goods receipt and management of the warehouse • Contributing ideas for menu design • Ensuring cleanliness and order at the assigned station • Carrying out general tidying and cleaning work • Implementation of the ZFV quality and service standards • Compliance with and implementation of hygiene and occupational safety guidelines • Carrying out various administrative tasks: writing menu plans, daily cost control, e-mails, orders, inventory, hourly control etc. Your strengths: -------------- • Basic training as Cook: EFZ • 2-5 years of professional experience in the kitchen, ideally in communal catering • Good oral and written German skills • Passion for cooking • Enthusiastic <<Foodie>> and connoisseur • Team player • Passion for the cooking profession and joy in guest contact • Clean and independent way of working With us you will find: ------------------- • A good job • Dynamic working environment • Freedom for ideas and creativity • Scope for development • Corporate culture characterized by responsibility and trust
