As a Support Technician, you are a central part of our technical customer support – and thus directly at the interface to our customers, dealers, and internal specialist departments. Your mission: to sustainably secure and further develop our service quality. Your main tasks Technical First-Level and Second-Level Support You process technical inquiries and problems from our customers, branches, and worldwide service partners – by phone, email, or via our central ticket system (C4C). Remote Support You analyze faults remotely, find solutions, and thus ensure rapid restoration of system availability. Worldwide deployments at the customer You go directly to our customers for installations, commissioning, fault finding, conversions, repairs, maintenance, or inspections on our machines. Traceable documentation You document each support case completely and ensure clean tracking until successful completion. Interface to development As a technical link, you pass on valuable customer feedback to our development and product teams. Standby duty / on-call duty You also support the organization in standby duty and contribute to ensuring that our customers can rely on us at all times. Your profile Completed technical or electrical training – ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology Several years of experience in international mechanical engineering or in a comparable technical customer service environment In-depth knowledge of control and electrical engineering, preferably supplemented by experience in handling industrial control systems Good German and English language skills in word and writing, additional foreign languages are an advantage Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work, also under time pressure or in complex situations High willingness to travel (up to 50%) as well as enjoyment of intercultural collaboration and direct customer contact worldwide.
