As Supply Chain Development Manager, you are responsible for controlling the network and translating business requirements into logistical plans and measures. You are a bridge builder between procurement, process and software development and the warehouses. (Junior) Supply Chain Development Manager (w/m/d) Your tasks As Junior Supply Chain Development Manager, you support the Supply Chain department in order to manage the growing complexity of our Supply Chain You support the development and implementation of tactical and operative network planning across all large warehouses – including inbound warehouse distribution and inter-warehouse transfers You are responsible for level-loading between the warehouses: You proactively balance capacities and prevent bottlenecks before they arise You make fast, well-founded decisions in the event of network problems and disturbances and implement them – data-based, pragmatic, impact-oriented, hands-on You summarize the requirements of various stakeholders and departments to define concrete measures Through data analysis, you define problem statements, assess new ideas and find optimal goods flow setups In projects, you take over the coordination of the participating departments on a situational basis. Your skills Completed technical or economic studies (e.g., industrial engineering, business informatics) Initial experience in Planning, Supply Chain or Operations is an advantage Strong analytical talent: apply data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Big Query, Power BI), recognize patterns, identify deviations and draw relevant information and conclusions from data Ability to take different perspectives, understand complex issues and communicate them in a target-group-oriented manner Project management basics: coordination and dealing with different stakeholders, structuring and leading projects as well as meetings Agile and innovative mindset: adaptability in the face of frequent changes, pragmatic approach to problems and the passion to question the status quo Fluent German and English are desired.
