Introduction
As a Writer, your role will be to transform regulatory and legal subject matter into clear, structured, and accessible texts, intended in particular for e-learning training modules.
You will work in close collaboration with our compliance experts, who will provide you with their professional expertise. Your responsibility will be to understand the subject matter, identify the essential content, and translate it into simple, precise, and pedagogical language.
The goal is not to oversimplify the regulation, but to allow each learner to quickly understand what they need to know, why it is important, and how to apply it in their professional practice.
Responsibilities
Analyze regulatory texts, procedures, and documents relating to banking and financial compliance.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand the topics covered and identify the essential points.
Write and structure texts intended for training.
Transform complex concepts into clear and accessible explanations.
Illustrate regulatory notions with concrete examples and professional situations.
Write examples, practical cases, and questions to verify learners' understanding.
Proofread, improve, and update existing content.
Integrate comments and validations from compliance experts.
Verify the quality of finished products.
Continuously ensure the right balance between simplicity, regulatory precision, and pedagogical effectiveness.
The profile we are looking for
Above all, we are looking for a person who loves understanding complex subjects and explaining them simply.
You are particularly comfortable with writing and have an eye for finding the right word. You know how to distinguish essential information from secondary detail and structure content in a way that facilitates understanding and memorization.
You could be a journalist, writer, instructional designer, legal professional, communications professional, or have equivalent training and experience.
Essential Skills
Excellent command of written French.
Excellent writing and synthesis skills.
Strong ability to popularize complex content.
Ability to structure information in a logical and pedagogical manner.
Very good understanding of the needs of a non-specialist audience.
Rigor and particular attention paid to the precision of terms and information.
Ability to quickly understand new subject matter and ask the right questions to experts.
Critical thinking and the ability to identify potential ambiguities or inconsistencies in content.
Taste for pedagogy and the transmission of knowledge.
Ease in working with subject matter experts.
Previous experience in writing or journalism (minimum 3 years).
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a team.
Are an asset
Training or experience in journalism, communication, writing, law, economics, finance, or educational sciences.
Experience writing content intended for professional audiences.
