Run a specific kitchen station efficiently, maintaining seamless communication with the rest of the culinary brigade. Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards. Train, delegate tasks to, and mentor junior cooks (Commis Chefs) and kitchen assistants working within the station. Inventory & Monitor stock levels for the section, control food waste, and adhere to portion and cost budgets. Enforce rigorous sanitation, food hygiene, and health and safety practices throughout your shift. Assist senior chefs in brainstorming and testing new dishes or seasonal menu changes
