Group HR Manager (m/f/d) 80-100%

Your challenge: You will assume a key role in implementing a centralized and globally oriented HR function for our group of companies, which consists of many national organizations, generally small in size, throughout the world. You will convincingly communicate the "why" of this centralization and ensure - across national borders and corporate cultures - its rapid and pragmatic implementation.

You are expected to have an entrepreneurial mindset, tenacity, change management skills, and long experience in leading a centralized and global HR department.

You report directly to the CEO and contribute to shaping.

Your tasks

• Develop a target vision and governance for a centralized HR function - with clear roles, processes, and responsibilities between headquarters and subsidiaries
• Define the implementation of the central HR function and guarantee its effective implementation in all subsidiaries
• Accompany and guide site managers through change, ensuring consistent implementation on site
• Establish group-level standards - particularly in recruitment, personnel development, compensation, as well as labor law and compliance
• Create sometimes missing foundations (governance, policies, directives, processes) and guarantee their correct application
• Develop HR competencies at both central and decentralized levels - through training, capacity building, and clear guidelines
• Be responsible for the digitalization and harmonization of HR systems and data
• Develop relevant HR indicators and create transparency at the group level for evidence-based management
• Convince subsidiaries to adopt human resource management that offers orientation, assumes responsibility, and functions globally
• Be an autonomous and competent sounding board for the CEO and management

Your profile

• Long experience in the implementation and management of a centralized and global HR function - ideally in an internationally organized industrial company
• Proven experience in change and transformation processes, particularly in the transition from decentralized to centralized management
• Determined and resilient personality, who does not avoid conflict and achieves objectives even with limited means
• Excellent leadership skills, strong implementation orientation, and experience in the successful operationalization of central HR organizations
• Mastery of relationships with very diverse stakeholders, from HR freelancers to site managers and management
• Fluency in German and English, other languages are an asset
• In-depth experience with "Best Practice" approaches for the development and implementation of governance structures, policies, and KPI systems at the group level
• Deep understanding of international HR frameworks (labor law, payroll systems) in different countries
