Uster, the third largest city in the Canton of Zürich, with around 38'000 inhabitants, is a dynamically growing city in the Greater Zürich area and known as an innovative regional center.

The IT department of the Uster city administration is centrally organized and supports the various departments as an internal service provider. Our support team manages around 700 workstations and is the first point of contact for IT questions and malfunctions. For this versatile task, we are looking for a motivated person, immediately or by arrangement, as an

IT Supporter (female) or IT Supporter (male) 100%

Your main tasks

• First point of contact for employees regarding IT questions and malfunctions
• Support on-site, by telephone, and remote
• Analysis and resolution of problems regarding hardware, software, network, and communication tools
• Ticket processing and documentation in Jira Service Management
• Support during rollouts, migrations, and on-site assignments
• Cooperation with 2nd Level Support, specialist departments, and external partners
• Maintenance of documentation, checklists, and knowledge articles in Confluence

What you bring with you

• Completed IT training or comparable qualification
• Practical experience in IT support/service desk
• Enjoyment of support and direct contact with users
• Experience with ticketing systems, ideally Jira Service Management
• In-depth ITIL knowledge, especially in change management
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working
• Motivation to take on responsibility and to develop yourself further
