September 2026 or by arrangement • Location: Köniz • Area/Department: Hospitality Siloah Langzeit offers comprehensive care to elderly people in need of care, people with disabilities, and persons with special needs at the locations Gümligen, Kühlewil and Köniz. The offering includes geriatric care in elderly residential groups – including specialized offers for people with dementia, addictions or gerontopsychiatric needs – as well as care in neurological residential groups. Your area of responsibility: • Ensuring smooth processes in the public restaurant Sinfonie and in the dining room of assisted living, as well as active participation in daily business • Personnel deployment planning, time recording as well as leadership, training and support of the service team • Ensuring quality, hygiene (HACCP) and cleaning standards as well as maintenance of area-relevant documentation • Responsibility for goods management, purchasing, stock controls and invoice verification • Organization and implementation of internal and external events as well as creation of offers in cooperation with the area management • Taking over administrative tasks such as monthly statements, statistics, protocols as well as participation in inventories and further training planning • Close cooperation with the areas of Kitchen, Care, Nursing and Hospitality as well as deputy for the area management in case of absence Your profile: • Completed training in the field of hospitality and gastronomy or a comparable qualification • Several years of professional experience in a comparable function • Several years of leadership experience, preferably area management restoration or comparable qualification • Joy in personnel and professional leadership, promotion and development of employees • Good knowledge in goods management as well as quality and hygiene management (HACCP) • Confident handling of common MS Office applications • Experience with time recording and goods management systems is an advantage • Strong organizational talent as well as a high service and quality orientation • Readiness to work flexibly and to take over deputy tasks if required • Very good German skills in speaking and writing Your working environment: • Responsible activity in an exciting, interdisciplinary environment • An upbeat, committed and family-like team • We consciously support our employees in the Siloah-Verbund in their professional development • Optimal accessibility: Your workplace in Köniz is quickly and easily reachable from Bern station thanks to excellent bus and train connections Your contact persons: • For questions regarding the area of responsibility: Frau Geneviève Hiltpold, Bereichsleiterin Hotellerie/FM, Telefon 031 978 46 52 • Your Business Partner in the application process: Frau Regula Zaugg, regula.zaugg@hss-services.ch The Siloah-Verbund: The Siloah-Verbund, with around 1'000 employees, is an independent and self-financed basic provider in old age and operates a geriatric hospital, three home locations as well as two Spitex support points in the Canton of Bern.
