Technical Clerk: Customer Service and Purchasing

Production Planning and Control (AVOR) and Customer Service:

• Order entry: Calculation, counting, and measurement of customer products.
• Reading technical drawings: Analysis, interpretation, and understanding of technical drawings and plans.
• Technical clarification: Obtaining detailed information from customers or internal development in case of uncertainties.
• Offers and pricing: Creation, price calculation, and dispatch of business offers as well as their follow-up.
• Order management: Entry of customer orders and maintenance of master data in the ERP system.
• Invoicing and order flow: Creation of delivery notes and invoices as well as the processing of complaints and credit notes.
• Order tracking: Consistent monitoring of ongoing customer orders and supplier orders.
• Internal synergies: Close cooperation and coordination with the Customer Service team in St-Imier.
• Planning: Coordination and monitoring of deadlines.

Purchasing:

• Implementing and improving the purchasing processes in the ERP
• Building master data for suppliers and items: Entry of all supplier conditions, item details, minimum order quantities, and delivery times as a clean foundation in the ERP.
• Mapping orders in the ERP and tracking deadlines
• Price monitoring and optimization
• Conducting supplier evaluations
• Checking and booking incoming goods as well as performing invoice verification and approval
• Optimizing inventory and storage locations.
• Training the team at both locations

Your Profile

• Education: Completed commercial basic training (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Verifiable professional experience in order processing (AVOR) and/or customer service or in operational and strategic purchasing.
• IT skills: Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and experience with an ERP system.
• Languages: German native language, good French skills. English skills are a great advantage.
• Personality: Strong organizational talent, resilient, precise way of working, high service orientation, great flexibility, dynamic and a team player.
