In the Personal Insurance department, we are looking for a Group Leader Daily Sickness Allowance (80 to 100%) with the workplace Wankdorf to strengthen the Daily Sickness Allowance team. The role involves, on the one hand, leading a team of specialized clerks and, on the other hand, processing a small portion of claim files.

Your tasks:

• You support and advise your employees professionally regarding the files
• You organize and coordinate the work of your group: conducting team meetings, individual discussions, planning for substitutions, etc.
• You actively participate in management meetings and work closely with the department head and the other group leaders
• You train your employees (8-10 people) and ensure the correct application of processing guidelines
• You plan, organize, and control the processing of benefit cases in your team and actively participate in the improvement and simplification of processes
• You independently and proactively process a portion of the claim cases in your own customer portfolio (from opening, in close cooperation with the medical examiners and our Care Managers)
• You maintain regular contact with partners, insured persons, employers, and service providers

Your profile:

• Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Insurance or equivalent training
• Proven and sound experience in the field of daily sickness allowance benefits
• Leadership personality with experience in team management and decisiveness
• Very good German skills
• French language skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of the usual IT tools (MS Office)
