A socio-educational worker, pool D, 70 %, CDM from 1st September 2026 to 31st January 2027

Integrate the people concerned into the life of the city by highlighting their skills and resources, while respecting their rights and duties. Elaborate personalized socio-educational support projects, ensure their follow-up and mobilize team members in their daily implementation. Assume the delegated tasks of referent for one or more people concerned and maintain regular contact with their network (legal representatives, relatives, treating physician...). Register their educational action in consistency with the principles stated in the institutional policy "Integration and Support". Maintain positive contacts with the people concerned that respond to the socio-educational values of the EPI. Accompany people in their daily lives and provide them with support adapted to their needs and resources. Design, implement and evaluate, alone and/or in a multidisciplinary team, socio-educational activities. Facilitate socialization, cultural, leisure and/or work activities. Know how to react adequately in the face of difficult and/or complex situations. Ensure direct functional contacts and relationships with all sectors and different external partners. Carry out the administrative tasks inherent to the position. A Swiss diploma in Social Work (HES level), in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Specialized Education or deemed equivalent. Knowledge of mental and/or psychological disabilities and/or alcoholism, as well as the willingness to develop knowledge in these areas. Previous experience in a similar position with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or in the field of alternative communication is a significant advantage. Demonstrate a service spirit towards vulnerable populations. Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility oriented towards user service and open-mindedness. Possess a developed relational sense, ease of communication and a pronounced taste for team work. Have flexibility in schedules. Master the usual office tools (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and specific professional tools available within the establishments. Master the French language. Within the EPI, the Socio-educational Services are responsible for accompanying people with disabilities with intellectual development disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders and/or mental disorders, offering them individualized occupational and development activities or home support. The Pool of reinforcement D mainly welcomes people with severe mental disabilities and multiple disabilities, presenting autistic spectrum disorders.
