In the Central Switchboard, you are the voice of our hospital: friendly, empathetic, and solution-oriented. As the first point of contact on the main number, you receive the concerns of patients, referring agencies, and employees and ensure they are connected quickly and reliably to the correct department -- even when things get hectic. What awaits you <br /> • Receiving and forwarding incoming calls on the main number • Providing telephone information for the entire Insel Gruppe • Operating the priority lines for referring agencies • Summoning the on-call medical staff and other on-call services • Triaging and answering inquiries regarding the App MyInsel as well as the referring agency portal InselLink (without technical support) <br /> What you bring with you <br /> • Friendly, communicative demeanor with a strong understanding of service • Rapid comprehension of complex contexts and the ability to communicate these eloquently on the phone • German as a native language as well as fluent language skills in French and English; any further foreign language is an advantage • Precise and reliable working style as well as flexibility and resilience • Confident IT user knowledge • Ideally professional experience in the commercial sector, in telephony, in a call agency, at a reception desk or similar • Willingness to work irregular hours (Monday to Friday between 06.45 and 22.00 and Saturday, Sunday, and on public holidays between 07.40 and 22.00) <br /> Our offer <br /> • Become part of a motivated and well-coordinated team where cooperation and mutual support count • A varied and responsible activity where no conversation is like the other • Careful and personal induction so that you feel confident from the start • An appreciative working environment in which your work and your commitment are seen and valued <br /> Questions about the position?
