Assistant Restaurant Manager (w/ m/ d)

We are a stylish boutique aparthotel in vibrant Zürich, just a few steps from Bahnhof Oerlikon and near the airport. In our 140 suites, we offer our guests a home away from home in a cozy residential atmosphere, as well as a cozy public living room with a library, an authentic Italian restaurant with a terrace and bar, and a spa and fitness area.

These tasks & competencies await you with us:

• Warm and personal service, advice, and care for our guests
• Ensuring guest satisfaction as well as the implementation of the company philosophy
• Active participation during lunch and dinner in our à la carte restaurant
• Support in the planning, organization, and execution of banquets for up to 100 people
• Co-responsibility for the creation of the monthly employee duty roster
• Co-responsibility for the entire ordering process
• Processing the daily cash closure and the monthly inventory
• Promotion and leadership of the 3 permanent employees and 6 casual staff members
• Support of the Restaurant Manager in budget and cost control, development of the existing F&B offering, as well as the launching of measures and events to promote revenue
• Completion of all general administrative work
• Assistance in the completion of general tidying and cleaning work as well as ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations

These skills & strengths are what we wish for from you:

• Completed training in gastronomy as well as several years of professional and leadership experience

in à la Carte service

• Very good oral and written German and English skills
• A host's heart with a passion for Italian cuisine
• Service-oriented, warm, friendly, communicative, and upbeat nature
• High degree of personal responsibility and joy in the development of

new projects

• Sense of responsibility and joy in the training and further development of the team
