Chef de Service (M&W)

We are just before the summer season in the Restaurant Joran du Port directly at the Bieler Hafen. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Chef de Service. The Bielersee-Gastro AG takes care of the gastronomy for the fleet of ships of the Bielersee-Schifffahrts-Gesellschaft. The 9 ships offer space for 40 to 700 people and are used both in scheduled shipping on the Aare, the Drei-Seen, as well as for special and extra trips. Furthermore, the restaurants Joran with 80 indoor and 160 outdoor seats, the Dock 4 with 100 outdoor and indoor seats, and the Gelateria with take-away in the harbor building belong to the company. Your tasks: • Responsibility for a smooth service process • Daily work allocation • Conducting daily service meetings • Leading the service staff • Training and further education of the service staff • Control of compliance with hygiene regulations • Host & care of guests, especially regular guests and their special requests • Planning and implementation of decorations • Assistance in creating the inventory and designing the food/drink menus • Coordination of seminar rooms • Responsibility for the daily closing
