Receptionist (M/F/X)

Your main missions will consist of:

• Being responsible for the reception and follow-up of customer relations in compliance with the establishment's quality standards.
• Ensuring optimal and complete care for hotel guests and external visitors.
• Managing customer dissatisfaction by defusing conflict situations and finding concrete and acceptable solutions for the customer.
• Applying reception standards in every customer detail.
• Ensuring the reception (physical and telephone) of guests and managing correspondence (emails), particularly for reservation confirmations.
• Ensuring the promotion, advice, and sale of services and various products to develop the Hotel's turnover.
• Working in collaboration with the other hotel departments (housekeeping, breakfast etc..).
• Morning and evening shifts.
• Welcoming guests, contributing to their loyalty through warm interpersonal relations, and ensuring permanent service quality.
• Anticipating and managing any situation to guarantee customer satisfaction and experience.
• Recording, following up on reservations, and ensuring optimum control of reservations.
• Having a sales mindset to optimize turnover.
• Ensuring the application of internal audit procedures for the securing of turnover (billing and collections).
• Being the guarantor of our loyalty program with customers.

Knowledge of the Accor group is an asset

Mastery of Opera Cloud is a plus

Mastery of English and German required

At least 2 years of experience in a similar position required

The Hôtel Mercure Fibourg Centre Remparts is looking for its future receptionist at 40% - 60% starting from the month of October 2026.

A fully renovated establishment of 63 rooms, the hotel offers accommodations near the historic center of the city of Fribourg.
