Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting an experienced leader for the management of a kitchen operation in an elderly and nursing care center in the Schaffhausen region. You can expect a meaningful and varied task with a lot of creative freedom, a well-coordinated team, and attractive working hours without Zimmerstunde.

Tasks

• Technical and operational leadership of the kitchen area
• Responsibility for the planning, organization, and further development of the entire kitchen operation
• Ensuring balanced, high-quality, and needs-based catering
• Implementation of diet, light, and special food offerings
• Leadership, promotion, and support of the kitchen team
• Responsibility for purchasing, inventory management, and cost control
• Ensuring compliance with all hygiene and HACCP guidelines
• Training and supervision of apprentices

Profile

• Completed training as Koch/Köchin EFZ
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in home, healthcare, or institutional catering
• Knowledge in the areas of diet food, light food, and finger food is an advantage
• Leadership experience or further training in the field of home or institutional catering
• High level of personal responsibility and strong social competence
• Understanding and appreciation in dealing with elderly people
• Good PC user skills
• Vocational trainer qualification or willingness to train apprentices
