ICT Operations Support Digital Workplace 100% (m/f/d) | Support & Rollout Coordination | Bern

For a client from the insurance environment, we are looking for a technically savvy, communicative and well-organized personality to support Workplace Support and a company-wide workstation rollout.
You support users with technical questions, accompany the exchange of workstation devices and coordinate the associated tasks and appointments. In doing so, you work closely with the Service Desk, Engineering, internal departments and external partners. Practical support and coordination are weighted approximately equally.
The position is also suitable for junior profiles and career changers who bring technical practical knowledge, organizational talent and enjoyment of direct user contact.

Tasks:

• Support in Workplace Support, including initial clarifications for technical problems and participation in 2nd Level Support.
• Processing, documentation and follow-up of support and rollout tickets.
• Practical accompaniment of device changes, including support in transferring the previous workstation environment to new devices.
• Coordination of rollout dates, device changes and orders as well as timely information of the affected users.
• Support of the IT Lounge as a direct contact point for users.
• Coordination of technical questions and necessary process steps with Engineering.
• Cooperation with the Service Desk on open support cases and escalations.
• Coordination with internal contact persons and external infrastructure and workplace partners.
• Support with organizational and operational tasks related to the Digital Workplace.

Experience:

• Initial practical experience in ICT Support, Workplace Support or a comparable technical environment - for example through professional activity, training, internships or a career change.
• Technical understanding of Windows workstations, client hardware and typical user problems.
• Technical training or comparable practical knowledge.
• Organizational talent and a structured way of working: You maintain an overview even with several parallel support cases, appointments and coordinations.
• Good communication skills and enjoyment in supporting users and working with different contact persons.
• Service orientation, reliability and ability to work in a team.
• Very good German skills and sufficient French skills for simple conversations in everyday work. In exchange with French-speaking colleagues, English is also partly possible.
• Readiness for approximately 80% on-site presence in Bern.

Advantageous:

• Experience in 2nd Level Support of workstation solutions.
• Experience with device changes, workplace rollouts or tasks in Client Lifecycle Management.
• Knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Intune.
• Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira or BMC; training in the tools used is possible.
