Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad AG is one of the largest mountain railway companies in the Berner Oberland. In addition to the railway systems and ski slopes, it operates its own mountain houses and employs around 450 staff in winter and 250 in summer. The experiential mountain summer is just as much a focus for the company as the enjoyable and diverse ski area. For the 2026/27 winter season, we are looking for a motivated and creative personality as Head Chef (m/f/d) You ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and work together with the team to contribute to the success of the mountain house. Your tasks • Creation and elaboration of the menus and daily specials in cooperation with the operations manager • Organization of the self-service counter and monitoring the quality of the salad buffet • Training, instructing, and promoting your small brigade • Daily briefing of the entire team with the operations manager • Deployment planning in compliance with the L-GAV • Sustainability in purchasing and use of goods, monthly inventory • Strict compliance with HACCP standards as well as administrative tasks Your profile • Recognized professional training as a chef, already having experience as a kitchen manager or sous-chef • Creative with an eye for detail and organized • Sustainable management is important to you • Very good German skills.
