Cook / Chef ca. 60%+ for Australian Pub Kitchen wanted

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality for our kitchen from July/August. Our kitchen is open from Tuesday to Saturday and specializes in pub classics such as burgers, nachos and other hearty specialties. At the same time, we want to continuously expand our culinary offer and further develop the Australian influence. Your tasks • Preparation of the kitchen for daily operations (Mise en Place) • Preparation of our dishes according to recipes and quality standards • Co-design and further development of our menu with a focus on Australian cuisine • Creation of order and purchasing lists • Goods inspection as well as proper storage of food • Correct labeling and control of expiration dates • Compliance with and implementation of all hygiene and safety regulations • Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen, refrigeration and freezer equipment as well as all kitchen equipment • Washing up and general cleaning work in the kitchen area • Assistance at the bar/in service during low kitchen utilization What you bring • Experience as a cook/chef in the gastronomy industry • Passion for good food and interest in Australian cuisine • Independent, clean and reliable way of working • Ability to withstand stress even in hectic situations • Sense of responsibility and team spirit • English is our company language and must be spoken fluently A completed cooking training is an advantage, but not necessarily required. More important are practical experience, motivation and quality awareness. Additional training or certifications in the field of food hygiene and food safety are welcome.
