Sous Chef at 100% workload (m/f)

Job description

• Leading a satellite kitchen
• Preparation and production of dishes according to the daily menu plan
• Ensuring smooth operations during operating hours
• Assisting in the organization and implementation of the offering concept as well as goods calculation
• Co-responsible for ordering and inventory management
• You are co-responsible for training and passing on information to new employees
• Monthly inventory
• You support the plating at the menu station and are responsible for meal service during lunch service
• You ensure that all guests at all points of sale receive impeccable service
• You ensure the quality of the food, pay attention to compliance with HACCP guidelines, cleanliness and order in the kitchen
• You communicate exemplarily and confidently with guests in German and in English

Desired profile

• Successfully completed vocational training as a cook (EFZ qualification)
• Several years of professional experience and at least 2 years of leadership experience
• Advantageously experience in a large enterprise, system catering/communal gastronomy
• Organized, independent and responsible
• Neat and friendly appearance
• Confident German and English skills
• Time and Task Management and resilience is essential
