In the heart of Basel, «noma» has been combining modern Japanese cuisine with excellent bar expertise and an internationally curated wine selection since March 2026. A place for connoisseurs, where aesthetics, craftsmanship, and contemporary luxury merge into an unforgettable experience.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and experienced personality as a Bartender (m/f/d) on an hourly basis (between 20% and 80%) starting immediately or by arrangement

Your tasks:

• Preparing and creatively presenting classic as well as innovative cocktails, long drinks, and other beverages
• Ensuring professional guest service as well as creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
• Friendly reception of guests and individual support of their wishes and needs
• Carrying out cleaning and maintenance work as well as responsibility for the daily mise en place
• Competent advice to guests regarding food and drinks with a pronounced passion for enjoyment and quality
• Ensuring the correct processing of all cash transactions and ensuring a smooth service flow.
• Efficient preparation and follow-up of all work processes to ensure seamless service.
• Coordination of reservations as well as continuous overview of guest movements and occupancy.
• Close cooperation with the entire team to create extraordinary guest experiences.

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in gastronomy, sound specialist knowledge as well as passion for cocktails, spirits, and mixology
• Excellent communication skills and service orientation
• Sense of responsibility, team spirit as well as flexibility and resilience
• An eye for detail and a well-groomed appearance
• Very good German and English skills, additional language skills are an advantage
• A solution-oriented mindset and a positive and team-oriented personality
