Senior HR Business Partner 100%

For our client – a leading, future-oriented transport and infrastructure company based in Bern – we are looking for an experienced, business-fluent personality as a Senior HR Business Partner (temporary until 31.12.2027 with an option for extension) starting 01. September 2026.

Your tasks & areas of design

• Sparring partner for management: You independently advise and coach managers on demanding, complex HR issues throughout the entire HR lifecycle as well as at a strategic level.
• Process & change responsibility: You take on the implementation responsibility for assigned HR topics, manage the processes within the HR organization, and actively accompany teams through transformation processes.
• Project management & innovation: You lead (sub-)projects in change topics, participate in the strategic further development of HR specialist topics, and contribute new impulses.
• Empowerment of managers: You create and moderate targeted empowerment concepts, training sessions, and workshops for management as well as employees.
• Stakeholder management: You maintain active exchange with internal as well as external interfaces and promote a sustainable feedback and learning culture.

Qualifications

• Education: Completed university degree (Master) or university of applied sciences degree (FH) with a focus on HR, BWL or psychology.
• Professional experience: At least 7 years of sound HR practice in a comparable senior role with high implementation experience and expert knowledge.
• Language skills: German at native speaker level as well as good knowledge in French and English (at least level B1).
• Specialist knowledge: Ideally additional knowledge or experience in the rail, transport or logistics environment (or the motivation to acquire this quickly).
• Personality: High business competence, strategic thinking, communication strength and enjoyment of change management.
• Security requirement: Willingness to undergo a personal risk assessment (flawless criminal and debt collection register extract).
