Working in part of Stryker-s Peripheral Vascular division, a unique opportunity has arisen for a motivated, driven, and successful Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Representatives across Switzerland and Austria. You will be responsible for the overall management of your region; developing and leading your team, and taking ownership for sales performance and budgets within your territory. The role also contributes to broader country-level commercial execution by supporting strategic initiatives, key accounts, and therapy adoption priorities aligned with EMEA objectives. Opportunities for maximising customer service along with acquiring new customers will be a pivotal part of your role, so a proven history of delivering exceptional results (individually and through your team) over an extended period is key. You will passionately drive performance with accountability & integrity. Key Responsibilities Reporting directly into the regional BUM, you will lead a sales team to ensure that financial & performance objectives are met. • Accurately forecast business and drive a sustainable, long-term regional sales pipeline aligned with country and EMEA priorities. • Attract, develop, engage and lead a high performing sales team, supporting and driving them to accelerate business. • Support and collaborate with our Enabling Function teams (Marketing, Medical, Reimbursement, Order-to-Cash) to ensure a smooth Order to Cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service. • Ensure positive and detailed account communication between the team and other in-house teams, providing feedback and insights to senior management as required. • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key regional and national healthcare systems, key accounts, and influential stakeholders. • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics (revenue, activities, conversion rates) and take corrective actions as necessary. • Embrace & enable change to simplify, scale & innovate, acting as a senior commercial role model within the region. • Demonstrate proficiency in leading complex sales cycles typically defined as six months or longer with multiple partners, decision-makers, and influencers at multiple levels. • Provide input into regional business planning, market development initiatives, and therapy adoption strategies in collaboration with region and EMEA leadership. Other Information This role will require approximately 50-70% of travel to attend customer sites, along with travel to local, national, and EMEA meetings as required. Education & special trainings: Bachelor-s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent commercial and clinical experience. Location Job holder must be located in Switzerland or Austria Experience • Proven success over at least 5 years within a sales and/or commercial leadership role with demonstrable examples of leading others. • Demonstrated success in roles requiring advanced strategic account judgment, therapy or patient pathway development, and influence across multidisciplinary stakeholder groups. • A strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets through individual and team performance. • Ideally product and sales knowledge in the Medical Devices sector, or experience within a complex healthcare or theatre environment. • Commercial skills in leading a profit centre, with experience contributing beyond a single territory to broader market or regional objectives. • Experience using CRM systems and strong MS Office skills. • Experience in the Vascular therapy area is preferred Competencies • Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset • Initiative-taking and results-driven • Highly confident and competitive • Strong communicator with the ability to influence at multiple levels • Collaborative approach, building strong relationships internally and externally • Leadership, strategic and proactive • High integrity & strong ethics • Negotiating skills and understanding the power of persuasion • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership • Conflict resolution and critical thinking skills • Ability to work under pressure • Decisiveness and assertiveness • Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment • Strategic approach to business planning • Excellent coaching and feedback skills • Fluent in English and proficient in at least one additional local language in the region Physical & mental requirements: • Medium work: Exerting up to 20 kg/50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 kg/20 pounds of force constantly to move objects • Coordination of eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention ability. • Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise • Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict • Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication • Must be able to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision • Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records • Must be able to communicate / present to large groups of people • Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment What We Offer • Competitive salary. With us, you will receive a competitive salary package and benefits such as: • Car • Phone • Laptop and full technical equipment • Recognition of your performance. At our company, outstanding individual and cross-functional team performance is rewarded.
