The culinary offering at Kasai Japanese BBQ combines Asian, especially Japanese, food culture with a modern restaurant experience. Originally conceived as a pure Yakiniku restaurant, Kasai has additionally developed into an excellent address for Sushi. Our concept combines high-quality meat from the table grill with Japanese cuisine and a special restaurant experience.

Do you enjoy Japanese and Asian cuisine, like to work independently and want to actively contribute to the further development of our kitchen concept? Then you are in the right place with us.
Your tasks

• Independent preparation and plating of our dishes
• Participation in the further development and optimization of our kitchen organization and the Kasai concept
• Preparation and organization of the daily Mise en Place
• Independent setup and organization of your station
• Ensuring that the required infrastructure and kitchen equipment function perfectly at all times
• Responsibility for the goods receipt including quality control and checking of delivery notes
• Ensuring our quality standards in the kitchen and grill area
• Compliance with and further development of hygiene and quality standards
• Independent execution of cleaning and disposal work in the entire kitchen
• Active cooperation with the entire team

Your profile

• Professional experience as a Cook (male/female)
• Ideally experience in Asian or Japanese cuisine
• Sushi experience is an advantage
• Passion and interest in Japanese cooking culture
• Quality awareness and enjoyment of high-quality foods
• You work independently, efficiently and in a structured manner
• You are reliable, flexible, motivated and responsible
• A well-groomed and respectful manner with guests and employees is a matter of course for you
• You have good social competence and teamwork skills
• You roll up your sleeves and keep an overview even in hectic situations
• German or English spoken
