Start date: 1. January 2027 or by arrangement Work location: Koppigen Das Bildungszentrum Emme (bzemme) is a cantonal educational institution with locations in Burgdorf, Langnau i. E. and Oeschberg near Koppigen. Our offering includes bridging programs, basic school education, an apprenticeship workshop as well as educational courses in higher vocational education. Around 250 teachers and employees are jointly committed to strong vocational education in the region. On the <<Campus Oeschberg>> in the middle of a large park area, the cafeteria and residential/hospitality services ensure the well-being of our learners, students and employees. Within the framework of courses, seminars and events, we also regularly cater to and accommodate external guests. Your tasks As a committed hospitality personality, you will ensure satisfied guests and smooth operational processes together with your team. Your tasks You • assume overall responsibility for kitchen, residential/hospitality, housekeeping/cleaning as well as room rental and manage the operation according to business principles • lead your team (total 11 employees) content-wise and personally, promote cooperation and work supportively within the team (peak times, events, deputies) • bear responsibility for offer planning and design, personnel deployment planning, goods purchasing, room and space management as well as further administrative tasks (e.g. accounts payable, cash reconciliation, price calculation, budget) • maintain close contact with guests as well as your internal and external partners • develop the offering, organization and infrastructure in a goal-oriented manner and contribute new ideas and impulses <br /> Your profile You • are a warm and dynamic hospitality personality, feel comfortable in a school environment and enjoy developing the operation further • have completed vocational training in gastronomy (preferably Koch/Köchin EFZ), relevant further training at the level of higher vocational education as well as the Wirte-Patent (or are willing to obtain it) • bring professional experience in a comparable function, have leadership experience and are resilient • are an organizational talent, IT-savvy and work efficiently with MS-Office applications • act with personal responsibility, independently and with integrity <br /> We offer you <br /> • An exciting, diverse and meaningful task with opportunities for design, independence and personal responsibility in a motivated team. • An open culture and contacts with committed people from different professional fields. • Employment according to cantonal guidelines <br /> Contact Curious?
